SistersFaded sunlight glittered down through small gaps in the full leafy canopy. Two girls, smiling wide with excitement twirled wildly through the twisted and knotted forest. Their white dresses trailing behind them like dozens of doves taking their first flight. The smaller of the two tripped on an upturned tree root.Sisters

MaggieMaggie arched her back in a long, pleasing stretch. She curled around to straiten her tawny fur in a few swift licks. She gave a glance around the quiet living room. The neon green houseplant swayed gently as the ceiling fan blew bursts of fresh air around the room. The dazzling colors of the stained class window caught her attention for few brief seconds. Maggie leapt from the wide windowsill, her favorite napping place, and landed silently, her dark brow paws clashing with the cream colored carpet.
